Magnus the Red - Deamon Primarch

It's dark. It's grim. There's a big eye that's terrorizing. Suck it, Sauron!

I'm trying to completely ignore their existence. Nope. Don't need them. Good riddance. Stupid models. /whistle innocently...

Are they still there? Crap.

On second thought, a single squad of each doesn't hurt anything, right? They can be allies... yeah... (and thus begins the fall of Brad...)

You definitely don't need the new Wolf Lord dude with his kick ass power claw... and he wouldn't look awesome next to the soon to be released FW Russ...

The Custodes and Sisters of Silence make the front of my pants tight.

You too???!

I didn't know what was going on with my pants!. I thought maybe I was just thinking about Janet Yellen again.

I got to check out the Prospero sprues at Warhammer Brookline this weekend, and they're absolutely lovely. Great detail, tons of variety, and just great looking models all around. Sisters are kinda spindly and might be fiddly to assemble though, but no moreso than Eldar or Dark Eldar. I don't regret buying the Forgeworld MK. III dudes because there's no way I could have known this was coming, but it has me hesitant to buy any other resin rank and file infantry, which let's be honest, is probably a good thing for my wallet.

I snuck down to the Franklin GW store and got a peek at the sprues.... so beautiful. I really like the sprue options for the SoS and the Custodes. Marines are Marines and all that - but the Mk3 and M4 being available now allows me to convert up a squad of Raven Guard that survived Istvaan with scavenged armor (cutting up FW resin would be too pricey).

I also picked up that FW special character and proceeded to sell him on Ebay for +20 bucks. Hurray me.

Dammit, I wanted that special character! They might have one for me at the Brookline store on Thursday.

And what your Raven Guard really need is plastic MK VI sprues, but who knows when that'll happen. I'd just like some plastic Mk II for Assault Marines.

Pretty certain the Franklin store has a few more. I could zip down there tomorrow and grab one for you.

Ok... I'm totally glad I haven't pulled the trigger on him yet cause those wolves are amazing. And freaking HUGE! Best Primarch so far in my totally non biased opinion! :)

I don't know if Russ is the best primarch yet (even with my Ultramarines fanboy tendencies, I think Ferrus Manus is the best one) but he's a damn good one, made all the better by his cool wolves.

Pfffft! Pherris is pflaky!

I wish they'd hurry up and release the wolves so I can be irresponsible with my money!
