Finished some more War Hound/World Eaters.

1/2 squad (only the cool kids were invited for the photo):

"So, I was partying with those Slaanesh guys, and they say to me, 'You know what your armor needs? A crazy hair crest!!' "

"I wish I was still sane enough to read this auspex. Maybe if I bring it up reeeeeeeally close to my face..."

Khorne digs blood and skulls, but he likes flames, too. (After painting so many orks, I almost painted the little pilot flame next to the muzzle like a toof.)

And, here's Knifey. (Because all my armies have a "Knifey.")

I got them a Land Raider Proteus to tool around in, because it looked Old School, and that's how traitor marines roll. (WIP, obviously)

Damn, those look sharp! Great Job Ron. It's always fun to see an army start taking shape... 5 guys, then 10, then suddenly you're at 1000pts and climbing... feels good!

Love the muddy boots! Really tidy but gritty. Are you thinking of weathering the tank too, or do you like them "factory clean" like Ian?

I'll weather the tank the same as the traitor marines. I haven't decided if I'll paint the tracks muddy, like I did with the Berserker Rhino, or leave them dull steel with dirt clods here and there.

And thanks for all the kind words, brothers.

They surely do motivate, and with the painting talent we have in this club, they mean a lot!

I call this one Still Life I: SoftScrub with Fruit and Vegetables.

Note the simple--yet elegant!--composition, and the whimsical combination of elements. (That was the LR Proteus kit soaking in a bath of SoftScrub)

Since the Worker's Rabble unit has now become mutants in the Vraks renegades list, I need to re-model some of those Catachan worker battalion members I built.

Here's a Mutant Boss conversion to lead them:
