That dude is the first 40k model I ever painted. Wife called him "LEARN OR DIE"...

The Imperial public education system is aggressive, if nothing else.

Do I spy a heavily modded Night Goblin using a Dreadnaught center plate as a shield in the center?

You do! I got him in a White Dwarf when Skull Pass came out, and I had a load of fun raiding my bitz boxes to make him something real special.

That's especially nice work with the robes shading.

NO. That would be Heresy! That young pure-blooded Cadian clearly just has some...pallor issues. There are no official reports of goblination in Cadia. None.

I've been kinda flitting from project to project lately, and I got around to painting a pair of Inquisition weirdos I kitbashed back in February:

And the whole gang so far:

I figure the guy with the greatsword is a Mordian veteran who got pressed into service with the Inquisitor, goldenboy is a bodyguard from a merchant clan, and the little goblin cherub guy just came with the Inquisitor's big book.

I want to know how many adepts cut themselves on the chainblade arm before they decided to put hazard striping on it.

I like the skin, did you wash it with a purple?

I'm never quite sure who the caution stripes are there for, if they're to keep friendlies away from the dangerous end or let the bad guys know they're about to get a face full of chainsaw.

The skin was a mix of Bugman's Glow and I think Macragge Blue, that I then mixed Cadian Fleshtone and Kislev Flesh into for successive highlights. The recesses were washed purple.
