Magnet Request

Postby Brutal Legend » Wed Sep 25, 2013 9:13 pm

Does anyone have any magnets in their modeling stuff big enough to use to magnetize dreadnought arms? I figure they'd be about 4mm x 1mm. I only need 4 and the deals on line for 100. Let me know, otherwise I guess I'll go to ebay.

Thanks.

Why do you need to magnetize Dreadnought arms? The pegs fit perfectly.

I think I had one arm on a metal dreadnought for a while and I made the hole bigger to fit. Now I'm putting it back on a plastic one and the hole is too big. I fit it with green stuff but it's not as tight as I'd like it to be (no jokes about my mother plz). The other side does fit pretty well, but...I don't know I just like to magnetize things.

Cody, I've got rectangular, flat magnets that work great for dreadnought arms. The only thing is it's really hard to "countersync" them. But they're strong enough and the shape prevents floppy arm syndrome. I got a bunch. You're welcome to two or three sets, if you want'em. Or if you have any smaller round magnets, I'd trade you.

If anyone's doing a K&J order, I'm in too.
