Presepi-Italian Nativity Scenes

Postby Brutal Legend » Wed Jan 01, 2014 3:26 pm

It's a huge tradition in Italy, and it has been for 100s of years, to make highly detailed miniature scenes of the Nativity called Presepi. Just google presepi if you wouldn't mind seeing lots more. Awesome stuff. A real labor of love.

I think Jesus took 4 wounds - 1 in the left hand, 1 in the right hand, 1 in the left foot, 1 in the left foot (although there was only 1 nail through the feet), and 1 in the side, then hung there for 8 hours, and then he died.

Anyways, I guess I posted it because they reminded me of those awesome Mordheim tables GW used to do.

Jesus passed his Reanimation Protocols roll the first time, but not the second.

Thanks, I'll be here all week. Tip the veal and try your waitress.

They are pretty amazing. There are these crazy detailed dioramas that show up on CMON every so often--perhaps that's where the tradition comes from...

Yeah, but he'd clearly been debuffed and tarpitted. I don't think a normal mobile Jesus with full psyker support is going to be that vulnerable.

It might still be 4 wounds, but they'd be significantly harder to inflict. And you don't even want to think about how tough he'd be to kill if he'd gotten to use Descent of Angels...

No see, Jesus was playing the mission and sacrificed the HQ so the Troops could claim the objectives.

I guess, but I'm sure he totally could have tabled them if some rolls had gone his way.

"Traitor" was the unrevealed scheme. He never did get off the "Plant Explosives" one.
