Non GW for 40k

So I'm thinking of reviving my nurgle army. With the allies rules I was thinking of bringing in demons to allie with CSM. I have a bunch of old confrontation models just sitting in a box that I was thinking of using as plague-bearers -- they fit the part in that they are decaying filth ridden dwarves. My question to the group at large is if you saw a bunch of these guys mixed in with plague-bearers would you say "WTF are those", "Neat", or "Cool, that's an awesome idea"
Any young lads around here interested in some high adventure!

The key to that is consistency... if they're all painted uniformly nurglish and you're not using Confrontation figs anywhere else, then yeah, most likely no one is going to care. If the figs are painted completely different than the rest of the plaguebearers and you've also got them scattered into Plague Marine squads then it's going to cause a WTF moment.

Aside from that, it depends on what the figs look like from a theme perspective, but consistent painting and basing makes pretty much anything doable.

And in the end, at the Eagles, no one will really bat an eye.

Post up pics, but I'm sure nobody would really care as long as they look close.

I hate when people proxy or convert models. It's too confusing.

Or when they use out of date models. Ugh! Use some current shit, it's there for a reason.
