Hello

Hello Everyone,

I've been playing 40k and fantasy with a few of friends for roughly 2 years now. I play Daemons mostly, but I have a ragtag ebayed Space Wolves army, an Eldar army and a fairly cutthroat Necron army in the process of being painted. I also have a Warriors of Chaos army for WHFB.

I am a big fan of highly competitive tournament style games (even thought I often get smashed in them), but I am always up for a good beer and pretzels game too.

I look forward to meeting you all,

James

Hello and welcome!

while a few of us like the "competitive game," most of Dorka approaches it with a more laid back style and want the cinema of the 40K universe to unfold in there games...

but happy to always see a new face, look forward to seeing you at the Eagles...

Where are you at?

Thats ok, we won't hold it against you.

Being competitive at DorkaMorka might outwardly get you pissed upon, but in realty there are a few competitive 40k games to play out there, you just have to be open and honest about it. People will give you piss when you aren't and show up with a beatstick army. We default to more relaxed games. But other than that you should be able to get a relaxed game in whenever you want.

Plus with a new edition, we are all about to suck.

anyway, welcome!
Do you play Bloodbowl?

I'm not a fan of being pissed on so I will try to keep things friendly! I haven't played bloodbowl in at least 10 years and even then it was with an out of the box starter set.

Surprising.

Perfect.

As a whole we play pretty laid back.

But if you are gearing up for a tourney or something - just holla about your intentions - I am sure someone would bring a "killer list" for you to practice on. We may play beer and beer and fun style, but we can still lay down some hurting!

I only run fluffy bunny lists. No exceptions.

(unless there's a Jokaero involved)
