Hello DorkaMorka, I'm ScanMan from Lowell MA. Looking to get involved in some 40k events in the New England area. Ive been going up to NH to play but it would be nice to see some painted armies on the other side of the table for a change. Looking to broaden my horizons if you will.

Welcome ScanMan! It would be great to get some more 40k players into the mix.

We play on Thursday evenings, from 7ish-10:30, at a venue we rent in Watertown Square, Watertown, from the Eagles. The venue is adults-only (and beer and drinks are available just downstairs).

Our style of play is not hyper-competitive. We discourage win-at-all-costs attitudes, min-maxed lists designed to table opponents, etc.

If all that sounds fun, by all means join us! The best way to get involved is to set up a game on our matchup forum.

Hope to face you across the table soon.

Hi ScanMan,

Although I don't get out to game as often as I'd like I'll look forward to seeing you sometime on a Thursday night. What army/armies do you play?

Painting is not something that is always finished - but we do have a great group that puts a priority on painting. Most people have an army (or several) that are painted. You will see a few unpainted models sprinkled in as people work to try out new units and such.

We believe having a painted army help with everyone's overall enjoyment.

Look forward to seeing you around. If you can't make it on Thursdays, we do run events every once and a while on weekends. So stay tuned.

Thank you for the welcome. I have an Alpha Legion list, and a Night Lords list, both I'm proud to say are painted and WYSIWG. Tuesday and Thursday nights Im taking a class, so I probably won't be able to come play until the end of the semester. Do let me know if you guys schedule a weekend event sometime however. I'll keep checking in every now and again.
