This sounds pretty damn fun. Makes me think of a souped up version of Axis and Allies or a toned down version of Twilight Imperium mechanically. Count me in for a game when it comes out.

Love the minis, and having played twilight imperium once, and if this is a slightly simpler version of it, with 40k, Hells yes.

I like the ships. I want them for my BFG collection. I wonder if they are exactly the same size.

Oh if they were! The BFG version of the SM battle barge goes for $90 on eBay. Trim off the stand, drill a hole and give it a new base and you're there. There are quite a few ships in the box and they do look in the ballpark of the right scale.

At any rate, this bodes well for GW's specialist games I think. FFG does great with GW IP and could help in their resurrection.
