FFG and GW, no more

Postby Jonasty » Fri Sep 09, 2016 10:55 am

Not sure if folks saw this or not but guess this is the end for FFG's GW adventure. Need to go grab Relic before it becomes $500 on ebay.

Wow, that sucks. That seemed like such a good partnership. I wonder who decided to kill it, FFG or GW?

Scuttlebutt is that there was a clause in the GW/FFG contract that said FFG couldn't produce a miniatures game. I guess X-Wing doesn't count and board games with miniatures don't count, but the new Rune Wars wargame does.

FFG and GW remain friends, and will now focus their full attention on raising their beautiful children. They ask for privacy at this sensitive time in the evolution of their lives, and state that neither will comment on rumors that GW initiated the split, and hadn't lived in the Beverly Hills home it shared with FFG for some time.
