Bones II draft

Postby Drool_bucket » Tue Oct 01, 2013 10:18 am

Okay,

I backed the Early Wave Early Bird. Guess it means we get the shit faster.

Who wants in? http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/151 ... ?ref=email

Okay, the group pledge, as of right now (4:21pm EST) which includes a base set of DDSII, is $416 which is $52 each

Ian
- Dragons don't share II ($35)
Dylan $110
- Dragons don't share II ($35)
- Dungeon Dressings II ($6)
Mason $116
- Dragons don't share II ($35)
- Narthrax ($12)
Bradley $98
- Burrowing Horror ($4)
- Khanjira, the World Breaker ($25)
JR $60, $9still owed
Cody $69
Jack $79
- Mouselings ($10)
Jonah $79
-Lords of Darkness ($10)

Our total Pledge is: $537

Update(12/30): So, if you check my last post in the thread, I was incorrect in my earlier math. I had taken the $100 set for granted and ended up $100 (plus a final add-on) short.. so the pledge amount went up. I also had to add a couple additional add on from people to grand total the pledge.

Our Pledge Total worked out to be $723 with all adds.
$172 of that is additional purchases that are listed above.
So that leaves a total of $68.875 per person (before additional purchase).
For my hard time I am going to demand an administrative charge of $.125 cents per person, making each of you owe me $69 plus your add ons.

I was just going to post that this kickstarter is silly already and only looks to get moreseo. I have never painted on the Bones plastic - does anyone have any experience with it? From what I have read online it takes some getting used to.

Did you do it already? I must have missed that post... should I cancel this one?

A few thoughts on the draft and pledge level.

-For the draft I'd like to run the lots vs singles in the same manner as I think that was universally liked.

-We had 7 people last time with a hat drawn order for the draft. Let's stick with that.

-Because we had 7 people last time the cost was pretty low per person. Given that I'm assuming we'll have the same number of miniatures this time, but it looks like we'll have more participants I'm looking to change the order level. If we get >X amount of people I'd like to go in for two sets.Ian correct me if I'm wrong but the per person cost ended up being ~$50 per person for the Vampire level and one of each extra correct? I plan to do that again, or double it if need be. How do people feel about that?
I'm concerned that if we get like 12 people that's fewer minis for everyone involved but more importantly it's less likely that the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks will be as good as last time.

The minis are already looking great. I also backed an early bird for the club.
Edit: unbacked due to redundancies.

Okay people!

I have been anointed the backer... the rest of you can stop backing it for the draft purpose.

Mason's rules seem like good ideas.

All we need is to know if you are in for the draft.

It was $60 a person.... plus personal add-ons.

Do we have to have our mini's painted up from the last time?
I'm in, but only for the draft. I can't imagine needing more mini's

Edit: Not my bag anymore, unless something amazing happens at the zero hour.

Nobody needs these, but the draft alone was fun as all get out.

Cody says he's in, and that makes 7.
