Standardizing Terrain

Postby Zombie » Tue Nov 24, 2015 10:01 am

So I figured it would make stuff easier if we standardized how we play malifaux terrain at the club. I think most of this is how we already play it but would be good to write down as then we can use it for tournaments and such. Perhaps there is a better way to play some of this or terrain i'm missing. Let me know.

This is cool. We should definitely establish a list like this.

The last few times I've played, we played 1" hills as climbing as well. We also treated buildings as soft cover due to the 'wood earth = soft, stone metal = hard" rule we've sort of adopted.

I like it, will put this list into my MaliFest packet.

I would just say that hills I play as soft cover because earth= rule. But honestly, I don't care as long as it's standardized... I just thought the two and two was easier to remember and covered 90% of the terrain we use.

And I do prefer your Wild West buildings as soft because there are tons of Victorian buildings(and others)that would be hard cover hat we'll eventually see at the eagles

I've updated the list. Let me know what I'm missing and I'll add it.
