Wyrd's University of Transmortis...

Does anyone have it?

I didn't pick it up yet and want to give it a try at some point. I plan on buying it regardless, just want to play it sooner rather than later.

P.S. I don't care if there are no M1E cards in it, not a big deal to me.

Going to be buying it at some soon point for sure. At this point I'm just debating on what I grab now versus what I wait and throw into my GenCon order. Gotta hit the $100 somehow, not sure with exactly what yet though.

no place local to us sells Malifaux... the closest to me is Amesbury.

TheWarStore still has it as pre-order.

While TheWarStore has it as pre-order, I know a lot of people have already received theirs, that's why I ask.

So, I cam going to be ordering it (or picking it up at GenCon), but was hoping to get a test drive before heading out in a couple of weeks.

Sounds like I'll have to wait.

The whiz sells malifaux. As does battlegrounds.

For an online option, Miniature Market lists it as available and their prices are War Store comparable.

Yes, but aside from Book 4, which is a year old now, they have nothing newer than that.

They have a decent selection of everything from books 3 or earlier, however, and the starter boxes are all discounted, too.

Adam, up near your way there's a comic/gaming store that sells new Malifaux stuff. I think it's just called the Comic Store in Nashua. Might be up there today, I'll see if they have it if I do.

Hmmm interesting, good to know.

Are you stopping by the Open Gaming Convention in Nashua? Was thinking of stopping by tomorrow morning for a little bit to say hi to Matt (Silas Cordell, another henchman in the area).

Don't think I'll be able to get up there unfortunately. I do want to meet him at some point, sooner rather than later hopefully.

FYI, here is a review of the University of Transmortis, in case you haven't seen it.

http://gmortschaotica.blogspot.com/2013 ... haotica%29

I think it is a little more true to the 'issues' with it. I still see myself purchasing it. My two reasons are the models (look awesome), and may work in some crews. The other reason is that I really like the idea of solo play to test some stuff out.

P.S. Went to the OGC and was able to chat with Matt and some of the other Game Castle regulars. They gave 'verbal' (tentative) confirmations to be able to attend the Oct. 5th event.

That was a good review and covered it better than most. The models are amazing and I want them for that alone but the review made me eager to try them out in a game as well. Having that random element sounds awesome.
